How your body shape determines your style.

So many times we put on clothes that aren’t the best fit for our bodies. This can sometimes make us look creepy or not in good shape. Worse of, some of us do not understand why certain clothes are not the best fit for us or why our wardrobes with the most beautiful set of clothes in the world still doesn’t fit us as we want.

Today, I would help us understand what body shape we have and how best to dress to help us build confidence.

Among many others, the very common body shapes are triangle shape, inverted triangle shape, the hour glass shape, the rectangle shape.

Triangle Shape: The triangle shape as the name implies, takes the look or pattern of a triangle. This is not to say that the person looks like a triangle completely, but that the individual has certain traits to that of a triangle. For the basics, the top of the body is usually slimmer than the bottom, hence the idea of a triangle.

Inverted Triangle Shape: This body type is one found among certain models. The upper body is much larger than the lower body. This also means that there is a tiny waist followed by a slimmer down. For this body type, there’s usually a broader shoulder with a slim bottom.

To best style this body shape, I would advice the individual to do opposite of the triangle shape. Its best to put on a slimmer cloth up and something much large at the bottom. This would mean to enhance the little bottom and reduce the large up. Another idea is to put on A line gowns. This can be cool too because the little down is covered and looks same size as the upper part. So many times we think that the ideal woman shape is the hourglass and so it happens so often that a lot of persons try hard to get it. I would like to highlight this one point. Whether or not you have the hourglass shape, you’re still beautiful. Your body shape should help you gain confidence not low self esteem. You can try a slim top with a baggy trouser or flayed skirt. Also try A line gowns.

Hourglass Shape: The hourglass shape is one in which a woman’s top and bottom body are of equal length. In other words, her shoulders and hips can be measured into a straight line. However there’ll be a point which gives it the curve. I’m referring to the waist. This body type comes with a tiny waist. It is this feature that really makes the shape visible. In other words, the measurement of the bust and waist are most likely the same or a little different.

For the hourglass shape you can wear almost anything. However I wouldn’t suggest baggy clothes for this body shape. A mistake so many hourglass shaped women make is to put on clothes that hide their figure. I urge you all to enhance the beauty of the body shape. For the hourglass shape, try to put on belts to show how inside your waist is. This is so that your upper body and lower body come out bold with a very tiny waist. Belts work magic for hourglass bodies.

The Rectangle Shape: This body shape is usually very straight from top to bottom without a defined waist line. There is most likely no curvy hip or curvy top. Instead, we see a straight body throughout…

Since this body shape doesn’t have a defined waist line, I would advice using belts also to create that imaginary waist. A line clothes are nice too. This hides the body inside a bigger cloth and then the fact that there’s no waist line isn’t shown.

There are so other body types but these are the most common ones. Also try to get creative with your dressing especially when it comes to considering your body shape. Knowing what body type you are helps you while shopping because you know the right stuffs to get.

When you understand how best to look, you gain more confidence and you eventually become bolder while you’re out
